This C14 socket replaces the original C14 socket (location J5). This is a direct fit drop-in replacement. In contrast to comparable sockets at for example Mouser, this socket has the screw holes and soldering points in exactly the same place as the original. This insured good fit form and ensure simple assembly on the analog board.
