Many Macintosh 128k/512k/Plus battery sockets are damaged or corroded due to battery leakage in the past.
This is a drop-in replacement for the Macintosh 128k/512k/Plus battery socket.
Also known as part “CAPETRONIC DS 1011” and “815-0727-B”.
Improved V2 revision – more efficient, more flexible, and safer
The V2 revision introduces several important technical improvements over the previous version:
- 🔋 Approximately 25% higher efficiency, significantly reducing battery drain and extending operating life
- 🔌 Support for 1.2 V rechargeable batteries (NiMH) in addition to previously supported battery types
- 🔒 Built-in reverse-polarity protection, ensuring the circuit is protected if the battery is accidentally inserted the wrong way around
Supported battery types:
- 1.2 V rechargeable batteries (NiMH)
- 1.5 V alkaline batteries
- 3.7 V Li-ion 14500 cells
- 4.2 V fully charged Li-ion 14500 cells
These enhancements make the V2 version more energy-efficient, more versatile, and more robust for long-term use.
